Fraternity & Sorority Foundation
Each year, the Fraternity & Sorority Foundation collects money from each KU chapter. Every chapter donates either 10% of their local philanthropy’s earnings, or $100, whichever is greater, to the Fraternity & Sorority Foundation Fund. The Fraternity & Sorority Foundation co-chairs elect a specific group from the Douglas County community to benefit. In the past, the elderly, children, and mental health have been particular areas. Agencies from the selected area submit applications for the grand, and the Fraternity & Sorority Foundation committee chooses an organization to be the recipient.
